Zydus Lifesciences is currently trading at Rs. 345.65, up by 3.65 points or 1.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 342.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 344.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 345.75 and Rs. 340.60 respectively. So far 7162 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 622.00 on 27-Jul-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 319.40 on 11-May-2022.

Zydus Lifesciences has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market Bisoprolol Fumarate Tablets USP 5 mg and 10 mg.

Bisoprolol Fumarate Tablets are used to treat high blood pressure. They can be used alone or in combination with other high blood pressure medications to lower blood pressure. The drug will be manufactured at the group’s formulation manufacturing facility at, SEZ, Ahmedabad, India and will be distributed by Viona Pharmaceuticals Inc. Bisoprolol Fumarate Tablets had annual sales of $30 million in the United States. The group now has 318 approvals and has so far filed over 420 ANDAs since the commencement of the filing process in FY 2003-04.
