Zomato moves up on acquiring entire stake in Blink Commerce India

Zomato is currently trading at Rs. 57.45, up by 1.50 points or 2.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 55.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 56.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 57.70 and Rs. 56.35 respectively. So far 3578917 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 169.10 on 16-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 40.55 on 27-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 59.15 and Rs. 53.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 45461.98 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 12.60%, while Non-Institutions held 87.40%.

Zomato has completed acquisition of 100% shareholding in Blink Commerce India (BCPL) from its shareholders. Accordingly, BCPL became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company with immediate effect i.e. from August 10, 2022. The board of directors of the company has approved allotment of 62,85,30,012 fully paid-up equity shares of the Company to acquire 33,018 equity shares of BCPL for a total purchase consideration of Rs 4447,47,84,078.

Besides, Zomato’s material subsidiary -- Zomato Hyperpure has acquired the warehousing and ancillary services business of Hands On Trades.

Zomato is an Indian multinational restaurant aggregator and food delivery company founded by Pankaj Chaddah and Deepinder Goyal in 2008. It provides information, menus and user-reviews of restaurants as well as food delivery options from partner restaurants in select cities.
