Yes Securities launches ‘WizeMumpedia’ Campaign on Mother's Day

YES SECURITIES has launched the WizeMumpedia campaign today to increase financial literacy among mothers. The campaign will simplify complex financial concepts and bring forth the wisdom that mothers, who are primarily homemakers' bring to financial planning and wealth creation. 

 

The campaign will run its course in two phases. Phase 1 will comprise a series of investment terms made easy for investors new to the investment world (attached are some sample posts). In contrast, Phase 2 will have social media users sharing anecdotes about their mother's bold and wise financial decisions. This campaign is in tandem with the larger philosophy of YES SECURITIES brand, Choice of the Wize – a culmination of extensive research and consultation with staff, dealers, sub-brokers, and other important stakeholders, including mothers of the world.

 

The campaign aims to reach around 30,000+ investors across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter. YES SECURITIES' has around 15% women with demat & trading accounts and the objective is to increase this number significantly over the next few years. This campaign will encourage homemakers to begin their journey towards attaining financial independence.

 

Speaking about the campaign launch, Mr. Amit Bhandare, Head - Marketing, YES SECURITIES, said, " It is encouraging to see that the proportion of women participating in equities has increased from ~16% to 24% across India in the past two years. At YES SECURITIES, we are constantly working towards increasing women participation in the financial markets which will help them to achieve financial independence. They possess immense financial appetite but do not participate due to lack of knowledge or inadequate exposure to financial markets. I believe there is a stereotype about homemakers in our society where people undermine their acumen owing to their family commitments. We hope our campaign will encourage homemakers to take the first step and begin their investment journey."

The campaign will run all day long on May 08, i.e. Mother's Day, and it will be live on all social media pages of YES SECURITIES.
