Vodafone Idea gains on launching 275 Vi Shops across Tier 3 locations in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand
Vodafone Idea is currently trading at Rs. 7.97, up by 0.09 points or 1.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 7.88 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 7.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 7.98 and Rs. 7.82 respectively. So far 8990459 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 11.70 on 04-Mar-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6.33 on 27-Jan-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 8.57 and Rs. 7.57 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 38456.87 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.87% and 20.14% respectively.
In line with its strategy to get closer to rural consumers, Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched 275 new format ‘Vi Shops’ across Tier 3 locations in Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand. Ramping-up its retail footprint, Vi Shops have been launched in towns like Sankra, Andla, Pandera, Gulawati, Joshimath, Haidergarh, Khamariya, Mankapur, Unchahar, Kadipur, Machhlishahar, Ballia, Saidpur, Pukhraya, Safipur, Hamirpur, Pharenda, Jalalpur, Pipiganj.
Introduced with an intent to deliver a uniform Vi experience to local customers as well as enable quick support and handholding, these Vi Shops have been rolled out in the last three months. The modern design of the new format Vi Shops is in line with signature elements that define existing Vi Stores in urban locations. Vi Shops offer the entire bouquet of Vi prepaid products and services and enable an enhanced customer experience and closer engagement.
