Vishal Fabrics shines on adding new denim line

Vishal Fabrics is currently trading at Rs. 37.70, up by 2.50 points or 7.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 35.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 35.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 38.70 and Rs. 35.45 respectively. So far 46317 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 49.17 on 17-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 13.77 on 17-May-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 38.70 and Rs. 34.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 757.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.66% and 24.60% respectively.

Vishal Fabrics has added a new denim line which commenced operation at the end of March 2022 with a total capacity of 10 Mn Mtr per annum. Further, the company plans to add 2nd denim line with 10 Mn Mtr per annum capacity which will commence at the start of H2FY23. The company currently has 8 existing denim lines with an annual capacity of 80 Mn Mtr per annum. With these additional 2 lines, annual capacity will increase to 100 Mn Mtr per annum at Dholi Unit. These investments are expected to increase the revenue by around Rs 160 crore/per line considering the full year of operation.

The total capex will be around Rs 30 crores and will be funded by internal accruals. The capex for these lines directly ramps up production of Denim Fabric without incurring any additional capex for any other process/machinery. With these two additional new lines, the company will be able to cater to domestic and export demand for Denim fabric.
