Vardhman Special Steels zooms on starting mass production of steel for Aichi Steel Corporation

Vardhman Special Steels is currently trading at Rs. 368.85, up by 24.55 points or 7.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 344.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 349.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 374.90 and Rs. 349.00 respectively. So far 32022 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 374.90 on 8-Mar-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 201.10 on 23-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 374.90 and Rs. 330.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1504.64 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.81%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.33% and 37.86% respectively.

Vardhman Special Steels (VSSL) has started mass production of steel for forging companies of Aichi Steel Corporation based in South East Asia for some of the grades for which it has received the approvals. The sales of these products for financial year 2023-24 will be around 10000 MT. It will further increase with the receipt of more approvals in next 2-3 years.

Vardhman Special Steels is in to the steel manufacturing business.
