Vakrangee declines on reporting 81% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Vakrangee is currently trading at Rs. 26.00, down by 1.55 points or 5.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 27.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 26.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 26.85 and Rs. 25.85 respectively. So far 460869 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 47.00 on 11-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 23.60 on 23-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 28.10 and Rs. 25.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2749.40 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.60%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.50% and 42.90% respectively.

Vakrangee  has reported a fall of 78.88% in its net profit at Rs 4.26 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 20.17 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 65.26% at Rs 218.29 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 132.09 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 80.59% in its net profit at Rs 4.53 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 23.34 rore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 46.61% at Rs 227.89 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 155.44 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
