UCO Bank trades higher on reporting above 6-fold jump in Q2 net profit
UCO Bank is currently trading at Rs. 14.53, up by 0.15 points or 1.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.38 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 14.51 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 14.57 and Rs. 14.34 respectively. So far 575977 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 16.30 on 19-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10.60 on 19-Apr-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 15.30 and Rs. 14.21 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17360.05 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 95.39%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.36% and 3.24% respectively.
UCO Bank has reported above 6-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 205.39 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2021as compared to net profit of Rs 30.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 7.60% at Rs 4655.86 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 4327.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal improved to 8.98%, as compared to 11.62% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.37% in Q2FY21.
