Titan Company trades higher on the BSE

Titan Company is currently trading at Rs. 2039.95, up by 9.65 points or 0.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 2030.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2049.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2049.50 and Rs. 1996.50 respectively. So far 24422 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2767.55 on 21-Mar-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1661.85 on 20-Jul-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2092.90 and Rs. 1906.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 180806.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.77% and 18.33% respectively.

Titan Company's women ethnic wear brand Taneira is eyeing  about two-fold growth in revenue at Rs 300 crore in current fiscal year (FY23), and Rs 1,000 crore by FY27. Launched in 2017, Taneira is the latest in-house brand from Titan. It aims to tap the huge ethnic apparel segment. The brand will predominantly focus on the saree business which is a Rs 50,000 crore market growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6-8 per cent.

Titan Company is an Indian designer and manufacturer of watches, jewellery, precision engineering components and other accessories including sunglasses, wallets, bags and belts.
