KP Energy surges on commissioning 25.8 MW wind power project

KP Energy is currently trading at Rs. 436.55, up by 20.75 points or 4.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 415.80 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 414.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 436.55 and Rs. 402.95 respectively. So far 36139 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 673.75 on 11-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 310.00 on 20-Mar-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 436.55 and Rs. 342.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2754.30 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.51% and 53.48% respectively.
Out of the total project capacity of 28.6 MW, KP Energy has successfully commissioned 25.8 MW wind power project consisting of 11 number of wind turbines generator, at Vagra Site in Bharuch. Further, the development work for remaining 2.8 MW capacity is under progress and is expected to be commissioned within this month.
With this successful commissioning, the company’s total independent power producer (IPP) capacity now stands at 45.7 MW. This achievement reflects the company’s commitment to accelerating renewable energy growth and contributing to India’s clean energy transition.
