“ The Retail industry would benefit a lot from ease of doing business – one of the key areas is to have a common registration document from for brands which are imported for both Physical retail and Ecommerce, The time taken to register at CIDESCO should be further cut down to 1 month, that would allow quick introduction of new brands in the country. The budget should also promote to bring in international packaging and fixture manufacturers with ease of setting up their units in India. Govt should implement the common retail trade policy for e commerce & Brick & Mortar retail and open up e commerce with the countries in the SAARC region.”
