Below is Quote on the Knight Frank report release today on the Mumbai Real Estate sales trends witnessed in H1 2021 By Ms. Shweta Thakker, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, AhujaHIVE
"Basis the Knight Frank India report on Mumbai sales in the real estate space property registrations in June 2021 have shown an improved sentiment as compared to the previous month given the impact of the lockdown coerced by the second wave. In our latest project launches, we have seen a reflection of this trend and a considerable rise in enquiries as well as sales.
Mumbai is enjoying a boom compared to the same month in the pre-pandemic period of June 2019 with real estate registrations witnessing an upturn due to the rebate for women homebuyers, stamp duty cut, and the leeway of four months on registrations announced by Maharashtra Government. This is a precursor in an effort to encourage buyers and cost overruns. Many players have already topped off discounts with added incentives such as booking amount refunds, statutory fees waivers, cash-back schemes, easy payment structuring and assorted freebies. We are hopeful that the momentum will only improve from hereon given the demand for home-buying supported by the country’s economic recovery and mass vaccination drive efforts."
