Tata Steel inches up on reporting 37% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

The scrip opened at Rs. 1330.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1330.00 and Rs. 1289.35 respectively. So far 994719 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1534.60 on 16-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1018.45 on 03-May-2021.

Tata Steel has reported a fall of 3.57% in its net profit at Rs 7,839.46 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 8,129.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 34.80% at Rs 37,187.09 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 27,587.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 37.33% in its net profit at Rs 9,835.12 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 7,161.91 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 38.40% at Rs 69,615.70 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 50,300.55 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a rise of 93.30% in its net profit at Rs 33011.18 crore as compared to Rs 17,077.97 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 53.70% at Rs 130,473.37 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 84,888.03 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 5-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 41,749.32 crore as compared to Rs 8,189.79 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 55.52% at Rs 244,744.06 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 157,373 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
