Tata Steel gains on the bourses
Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 928.45, up by 7.25 points or 0.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 921.20 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 930.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 945.30 and Rs. 924.15 respectively. So far 465296 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 953.10 on 08-Apr-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 262.55 on 18-May-2020.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 945.30 and Rs. 854.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 111615.85 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.72% and 20.79% respectively.
Tata Steel has filed a commercial court claim in the UK against Liberty Steel, over alleged missed payments from an acquisition dating back to 2017. Liberty Steel had stepped in to acquire Tata’s Speciality Steels business employing more than 1,700 people in Yorkshire, Lancashire and the West Midlands in an estimated 100 million pounds deal, which Tata Steel announced as complete in May 2017.
