Tata Power Company gains as its arm signs Power Delivery agreement with Neosym Industry

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 261.65, up by 2.50 points or 0.96 % from its previous closing of Rs. 259.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 260.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 262.50 and Rs. 259.50 respectively. So far 404156 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 262.30 on 04-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 182.45 on 28-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 262.30 and Rs. 244.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 82807.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.66% and 28.47% respectively.

Tata Power Company’s subsidiary -- Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL) has signed Power Delivery Agreement (PDA) with Neosym Industry (Neosym), a leading Gray & S.G. Iron casting, manufacturing company in India, for 26 MW AC Group Captive Solar plant.

The project, located at Jamkhed, Ahmednagar in Maharashtra with an anticipated electricity generation capacity of 59 million units annually will start from March 2024.The plant is expected to reduce around 32,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. This substantial reduction in greenhouse gas emissions aligns with India's commitment to combat climate change and underscores TPREL and Neosym's joint commitment to environmental stewardship.
