Tata Power Company gains as its arm commissions 120MW solar project in Gujarat

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 250.15, up by 1.65 points or 0.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 248.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 250.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 254.00 and Rs. 249.55 respectively. So far 2555841 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 298.00 on 07-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 96.30 on 03-May-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 255.15 and Rs. 238.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 80330.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.03% and 26.11% respectively.

Tata Power Company’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL) has commissioned 120MW solar project in Masenka, Gujarat. The landmark project will produce 305247 MWh annually for Gujarat Government (GUVNL). In the installation, approximately 3.81 lakhs modules were used and the project will reduce up to 1.03 lakh ton CO2 annually. A thin-film glass on glass modules of various wattages and harnesses of capacity 440Wp to 460Wp have been used in the project.

With this addition of 120 MW, the renewables capacity in operation for Tata Power now stands at 3,520 MW with 2,588 MW of Solar and 932 MW of Wind. Tata Power’s total Renewable capacity is 4,920 MW including 1,400 MW of Renewable projects under various stages of implementation.
