Tata Motors trades higher on signing MoU with Gentari

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 407.90, up by 6.20 points or 1.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 401.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 401.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 408.60 and Rs. 401.10 respectively. So far 397612 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 494.50 on 17-Aug-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 366.05 on 12-May-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 422.55 and Rs. 400.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 134730.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.39%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.25% and 20.10% respectively.

Clean energy solutions provider Gentari has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors for the delivery of 5,000 units of e-commercial vehicles (Tata Ace EV) over three years. The MoU includes delivery of 1,000 units in the first year for deployment in cities, such as Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Kolkata.

Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
