Symphony Q4 net profit up 8.89% at Rs 49.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 49.00 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 45.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 8.89 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 37.66 per cent at Rs 212.00 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 154.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 44.76 per cent to Rs 152.00 crore from Rs 105.00 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 42.86 per cent at Rs 8.00 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 14.00 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 22.45 per cent to Rs 60.00 crore as against Rs 49.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 11.06 per cent in March quarter. Taxation increased by 28.57 per cent at Rs 18.00 crore (Mar'20 Rs 14.00 crore).
