Swan Energy inches up on acquiring 100% stake in Swan Mills

Swan Energy is currently trading at Rs. 239.75, up by 0.55 points or 0.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 239.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 239.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 243.25 and Rs. 239.75 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 337.00 on 04-May-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 112.50 on 30-Nov-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 247.50 and Rs. 228.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6312.89 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.48% and 24.43% respectively.

Swan Energy has acquired 100% equity shares of one of its group companies, i.e., Swan Mills (SML). Consequently, SML has become Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of the Company with effect from September 15, 2022. The acquisition is done to facilitate a support to the company in its Textile Division. The business of the company being acquired is in line with the business of the company.
