Suzlon Energy touches roof as its consolidated net loss narrows to Rs 57 crore in Q4

Suzlon Energy is currently trading at its upper circuit limit of Rs. 8.05, up by 0.38 points or 4.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 7.67 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 7.99 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 8.05 and Rs. 7.47 respectively. So far 25134252 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 8.68 on 08-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.71 on 16-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 8.09 and Rs. 7.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7119.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 17.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.76% and 62.07% respectively.

Suzlon Energy has reported net loss at Rs 221.87 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to net loss to Rs 874.69 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company reports many fold jumps at Rs 550.95 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 61.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the owners of Rs 56.65 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021compared to net loss to Rs 823.53 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 73.19% at Rs 1,141.15 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 658.89 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported net loss at Rs 398.40 crore as compared to net loss Rs 3276.63 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company reports many fold jumps at Rs 1,317.06 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 612.13 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit attributed to the owners at Rs 104.18 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 2642.23 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 12.17% at Rs 3,365.59 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3,000.42 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
