The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 48.83 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 11.79 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 314.16 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 34.60 per cent at Rs 346.76 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 257.63 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 36.51 per cent to Rs 288.51 crore from Rs 211.34 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 130.09 per cent at Rs 14.68 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 6.38 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 25.84 per cent to Rs 58.25 crore as against Rs 46.29 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 6.51 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 66.76 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.15 crore, while Taxation increased by 240.65 per cent at Rs 16.76 crore (Mar'20 Rs 4.92 crore).
