Sundaram-Clayton jumps on reporting 45% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Sundaram-Clayton is currently trading at Rs. 4890.10, up by 91.35 points or 1.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 4798.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4809.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5069.35 and Rs. 4767.85 respectively. So far 709 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5153.55 on 15-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3500.00 on 16-May-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5069.35 and Rs. 4670.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9923.53 crore.

The company has reported rise of 33.71% in its net profit at Rs 49.14 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 36.75 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the company increased by 24.21% to Rs 549.96 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 442.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 45.34% in its net profit at Rs 394.28 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 271.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 31.88% to Rs 8,971.74 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 6,802.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
