Strides Pharma Scien posts Q1 net loss of Rs 66.25 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 66.25 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 21.23 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 16.82 per cent at Rs 423.19 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 508.79 crore in the corresponding period last year. During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 3.27 per cent to Rs 484.22 crore from Rs 500.60 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 14.63 per cent at Rs 7.47 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 8.75 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 845.18 per cent to Rs -61.03 crore as against Rs 8.19 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 995.65 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 43.84 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.02 crore, while Taxation increased by 473.63 per cent at Rs -37.63 crore (Jun'21 Rs -6.56 crore).
