State Bank of India surges on planning to raise upto Rs 10,000 crore through infrastructure bonds

State Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 608.45, up by 7.25 points or 1.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 601.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 601.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 609.25 and Rs. 597.35 respectively. So far 419997 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 629.65 on 15-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 425.00 on 08-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 609.25 and Rs. 570.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 542170.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.35% and 7.13% respectively.

State Bank of India (SBI) is planning to raise infrastructure bonds up to an amount of Rs 10,000 crore through a public issue or private placement, during FY23. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Central Board of State Bank of India is scheduled to be held on January 03, 2023 to consider the same.

SBI is the country’s largest lender and it offers a wide range of services in the Personal Banking, Agriculture/ Rural, NRI services, SME and Corporate Banking etc.
