The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 30.75 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 25.68 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 19.74 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 19.71 per cent at Rs 577.84 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 482.72 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 21.30 per cent to Rs 535.40 crore from Rs 441.37 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 64.27 per cent at Rs 6.62 crore versus (Dec'20 Rs 4.03 crore). Operating Profit surged by 4.82 per cent to Rs 46.10 crore as against Rs 43.98 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 12.40 per cent in December quarter. Interest declined by 22.83 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.96 crore, while Taxation increased by 0.69 per cent at Rs 8.78 crore (Dec'20 Rs 8.72 crore).
