Sintex Industries posts Q4 net loss of Rs 125.43 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 125.43 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 143.66 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 48.78 per cent at Rs 1,049.76 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 705.60 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 56.02 per cent to Rs 934.19 crore from Rs 598.76 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 3.81 per cent at Rs 26.15 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 25.19 crore). Operating Profit surged by 8.17 per cent to Rs 115.57 crore as against Rs 106.84 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 27.28 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 1.96 per cent y-o-y to Rs 202.47 crore
