Shree Digvijay Cement Company surges on getting nod to increase cement capacity
Shree Digvijay Cement Company is currently trading at Rs. 81.30, up by 1.93 points or 2.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 79.37 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 79.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 82.15 and Rs. 79.00 respectively. So far 82633 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 87.85 on 15-Jun-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 57.30 on 27-Mar-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 82.80 and Rs. 76.49 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1184.26 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.62%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.84% and 41.54% respectively.
Shree Digvijay Cement Company has received approval from board of directors to increase cement capacity of the company to 3 million tons per annum at capex of around Rs 250 crore. The additionally capacity is expected to be available from October 2024. The board of directors at its meeting held on July 27, 2023 has approved the same.
