Shoppers Stop gains on turning black in Q2FY23

Shoppers Stop is currently trading at Rs. 785.00, up by 5.10 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 779.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 804.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 819.00 and Rs. 781.05 respectively. So far 27898 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 819.00 on 21-Oct-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 294.85 on 21-Oct-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 819.00 and Rs. 735.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8611.65 crore.

Shoppers Stop reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.

The company has reported net profit of Rs 18.14 crore for Q2FY23 as against net loss of Rs 3.03 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the company increased by 44.76% to Rs 1,012.12 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 699.17 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit of Rs 16.20 crore for Q2FY23 as against net loss of Rs 3.58 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the company increased by 43.26% to Rs 1,016.63 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 709.63 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
