Schaeffler India Q2 net profit jumps 76.19% at Rs 225.75 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 225.75 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 128.13 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 76.19 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 41.85 per cent at Rs 1,748.83 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,232.89 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 39.12 per cent to Rs 1,427.10 crore from Rs 1,025.83 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 25.00 per cent at Rs 16.20 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 12.96 crore). Operating Profit surged by 55.38 per cent to Rs 321.73 crore as against Rs 207.06 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 9.59 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 3.33 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.93 crore, while Taxation increased by 76.25 per cent at Rs 74.96 crore (Jun'21 Rs 42.53 crore).
