Saurashtra Cement falls on temporarily suspending production at Gotan Plant

Saurashtra Cement is currently trading at Rs. 62.60, down by 1.45 points or 2.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 64.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 64.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 64.00 and Rs. 62.60 respectively. So far 3017 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 106.90 on 06-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 46.90 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 64.80 and Rs. 60.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 448.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.51%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.46% and 27.03% respectively.

Saurashtra Cement has temporarily suspended production at Gotan Plant (Paints Division) on the back of high stocks of finished goods inventory. However, the dispatches shall continue from the said factory. The Gotan factory operations shall be reviewed comprehensively by September 30, 2022.
