Sangam India Ltd Q1 net profit zooms 297.13% at Rs 52.50 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 52.50 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 13.22 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 297.13 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 73.82 per cent at Rs 713.28 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 410.36 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 71.79 per cent to Rs 620.10 crore from Rs 360.97 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 159.78 per cent at Rs 4.65 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 1.79 crore). Operating Profit surged by 88.66 per cent to Rs 93.18 crore as against Rs 49.39 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 8.47 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 23.83 per cent y-o-y to Rs 14.29 crore, while Taxation increased by 75.88 per cent at Rs 12.54 crore (Jun'21 Rs 7.13 crore).
