The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 16.12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 9.87 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 63.32 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 34.81 per cent at Rs 190.54 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 141.34 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 32.04 per cent to Rs 164.43 crore from Rs 124.53 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 1.22 per cent at Rs 0.83 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.82 crore). Operating Profit surged by 55.23 per cent to Rs 26.11 crore as against Rs 16.82 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 15.13 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 0.71 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.39 crore, while Taxation increased by 87.00 per cent at Rs 5.61 crore (Mar'21 Rs 3.00 crore).
