Reliance Power Ltd posts Q1 net loss of Rs 69.18 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 69.18 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 78.14 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 27.50 per cent at Rs 10.07 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 13.89 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 5.70 per cent to Rs 6.68 crore from Rs 6.32 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 14.41 per cent at Rs 30.41 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 35.53 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 55.22 per cent to Rs 3.39 crore as against Rs 7.57 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 38.24 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 10.29 per cent y-o-y to Rs 99.01 crore
