Reliance Capital touches roof as its consolidated net loss narrows to Rs 1664 crore in Q4

Reliance Capital is currently trading at its upper circuit limit of Rs. 12.41, up by 0.59 points or 4.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 11.82 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 11.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 12.41 and Rs. 11.50 respectively. So far 1023288 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 14.71 on 03-Jul-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 5.96 on 27-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 12.41 and Rs. 10.33 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 313.61 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 1.51%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.51% and 94.99% respectively.

Reliance Capital has reported net loss at Rs 3865 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to net loss of Rs 2501 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 99.44% at Rs 2 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 356 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the owners at Rs 1664 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to net loss of Rs 2123 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 37.18% at Rs 5202 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 3792 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported net loss at Rs 10972 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 5465 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 59.58% at Rs 563 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1393 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the owner at Rs 9404 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 1075 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.17% at Rs 19308 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 18359 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
