Let's toast to this well-known traditional beverage during this World Negroni Week. After a long day of crunching figures at work, this is definitely the ideal time to upgrade your home bar and try these 3 energising gin cocktail ideas.

FRENCH 75

Ingredients

10ml trouvaille gin

10ml orange liqueur

10ml lemon juice

5ml sugar

Champagne or fizz of your choice

How to prepare

Mix the trouvaille, orange liqueur, and lemon juice together in a champagne flute and top with chilled champagne or fizz of your choice.

The fizz will bring out the flavour of the gin, but if you are not a fizz fan you can replace it with chilled water.

GIN - ESPRESSO MARTINI

Ingredients

50 ml trouvaille gin

25 ml espresso (very cold)

25 ml coffee liqueur or any syrup of your choice

Orange twist for garnish

How to prepare

The trick for getting the foam for this one lies in the way you shake it, so to get that foam, shake it in a dry shaker.

Mix all the ingredients in a dry shaker and shake it a little harder than you would for other drinks.

Then pour it into a tall chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with an orange twist.

CUCUMBER, BASIL AND GIN SPLASH

Ingredients

30 ml Trouvaille Gin

3 cucumber slices

5-7 basil leaves

2 tsp sugar syrup

Half lemon juice

Crushed ice

How to prepare

Muddle cucumber slices along with basil leaves in a shaker, so that they are crushed enough to release their flavour.

Add sugar syrup, lemon juice, trouvaille gin, and crushed ice in the cocktail shaker.

Now strain the cocktail in a glass and garnish it with some cucumber strips and fresh basil leaves.

This one will surely leave you refreshed and asking for more.
