The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 54.11 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 27.20 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 98.93 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 6.00 per cent at Rs 455.23 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 429.48 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 0.86 per cent to Rs 359.03 crore from Rs 355.97 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 159.34 per cent at Rs 21.11 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 8.14 crore). Operating Profit surged by 30.87 per cent to Rs 96.20 crore as against Rs 73.51 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 23.42 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 68.66 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.13 crore, while Taxation increased by 37.70 per cent at Rs 19.03 crore (Mar'21 Rs 13.82 crore).
