Prime Focus posts Q1 net loss of Rs 10.73 cr
The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 10.73 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 9.04 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 50.79 per cent at Rs 7.83 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 15.91 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 36.14 per cent to Rs 15.03 crore from Rs 11.04 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 12.44 per cent at Rs 11.57 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 10.29 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 247.84 per cent to Rs -7.20 crore as against Rs 4.87 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 400.29 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 20.62 per cent y-o-y to Rs 6.89 crore
