Power Grid rises on emerging as successful bidder under TBCB

Power Grid Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 228.60, up by 0.65 points or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 227.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 228.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 230.40 and Rs. 228.10 respectively. So far 99814 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 248.25 on 10-May-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 186.35 on 26-Sep-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 230.40 and Rs. 220.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 159493.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.50% and 3.16% respectively.

Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared as successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) to establish Inter-State Transmission System for ‘Transmission System Strengthening Scheme for Evacuation of Power from Solar Energy Zones in Rajasthan (8.1 GW) under Phase-II Part-E’ on Build, Own, Operate and Maintain (BOOM) basis.

The Letter of Intent (LoI) has been received by Power Grid Corporation of India on March 7, 2023. The Scope of the project comprises of establishment of a 765kV D/c Transmission Line along with associated Line Bays in the State of Rajasthan.
