* The BSE Sensex ended at 59,306.93 down by 677.77 points or 1.13% after trading in a range of 60,132.81 and 59,089.37. There were 11 stocks advancing and 19 stocks declining on the index. 

* The broader indices ended in green and red respectively; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.16%, and Small cap index was down by 0.38%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Realty was up by 0.53%, while, Capital Goods was down by 0.73%, Telecom was down by 0.46%, FMCG was down by 0.21%, Oil & Gas was down by 0.52%, Utilities was down by 0.93%, and Energy was down by 1.90%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were UltraTech Cement was up by 2.61%, Dr. Reddy was up by 2.12%, Maruti was up by 1.49%, TATA Steel was up by 1.34%, and Titan was up by 0.66%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Tech Mahindra was down by 3.53%, NTPC was down by 3.05%, Indusind Bank was down by 2.62%, Kotak Bank was down by 2.53%, and L&T was down by 2.51%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,671.65 down by 185.60 points or 1.04% after trading in a range of 17,915.85 and 17,613.10. There were 18 stocks advancing and 32 stocks declining.
