* The BSE Sensex ended at 57,260.58 up by 153.43 points or 0.27% after trading in a range of 57,626.51 and 56,382.93. There were 13 stocks advancing and 17 stocks declining on the index.
* The broader indices ended in red; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.93%, and Small cap index was down by 1.90%.
* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Telecom was up by 0.26%, and Energy was up by 0.43%, while, Utilities was down by 2.61%, Oil & Gas was down by 1.51%, FMCG was down by 0.78%, Realty was down by 1.98%, and Capital Goods was down by 0.75%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.
* There were Kotak Bank was up by 2.92%, HCL Tech was up by 2.25%, TCS was up by 1.60%, Titan was up by 1.42%, and Bajaj Finance was up by 1.41%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.
* There were Sun Pharma was down by 2.03%, NTPC was down by 1.71%, AXIS Bank was down by 1.65%, Nestle India was down by 1.35%, and Bajaj Auto was down by 1.32%, the top losers were on the Sensex.
* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,053.95 up by 27.50 points or 0.16% after trading in a range of 17,160.70 and 16,782.40. There were 5 stocks advancing and 45 stocks declining.
