* The BSE Sensex ended at 52,344.45 up by 21.12 points or 0.04% after trading in a range of 52,586.41 and 51,601.11. There were 12 stocks advancing and 18 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in red; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.70%, and Small cap index was down by 0.89%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, FMCG was up by 0.20%, and Telecom was up by 1.47%, while, Oil & Gas was down by 1.75%, Energy was down by 0.40%, Capital Goods was down by 0.83%, Realty was down by 0.91%, and Utilities was down by 2.54%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Hindustan Unilever was up by 2.64%, Bajaj Auto was up by 2.61%, Bharti Airtel was up by 1.93%, Bajaj FInserv was up by 1.51%, and Indusind Bank was up by 1.08%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were ONGC was down by 3.72%, NTPC was down by 3.16%, Power Grid was down by 2.80%, Mahindra & Mahindra was down by 2.56% and Nestle India was down by 2.08%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,683.35 down by 8.05 points or 0.05% after trading in a range of 15,761.50 and 15,450.90. There were 22 stocks advancing and 28 stocks declining.
