* The BSE Sensex ended at 51,849.48 down by 85.40 points or 0.16% after trading in a range of 51,913.92 and 51,450.58. There were 12 stocks advancing and 18 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 1.75%, and Small cap index was up by 1.29%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Energy was up by 1.76%, Oil & Gas was up up by 0.69%, Realty was up by 1.52%, Capital Goods was up by 0.81%, and Utilities was up by 1.51%, while, FMCG was down by 0.46%, and Telecom was down by 0.15%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were TATA Steel was up by 2.11%, Indusind Bank was up by 1.81%, Power Grid was up by 1.58%, Reliance was up by 1.52%, and Bajaj Auto was up by 1.41%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were ITC was down by 2.88%, Tech Mahindra was down by 1.20%, AXIS Bank was down by 1.08%, Asian Paint was down by 0.95% and Kotak Bank was down by 0.84%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,576.20 up by 1.35 points or 0.01% after trading in a range of 15,597.45 and 15,459.85. There were 27 stocks advancing and 23 stocks declining.
