* The BSE Sensex ended at 50,051.44 up by 280.15 points or 0.56% after trading in a range of 50,264.65 and 49,661.92. There were 17 stocks advancing and 13 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.95%, and Small cap index was up by 0.75%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Realty was up by 1.05%, Capital Goods was up by 0.76%, Utilities was up by 0.11%, and Energy was up by 1.06%, while FMCG was down by 0.45%, Oil & Gas was down by 0.45%, and Telecom was down by 0.06%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were UltraTech Cement was up by 3.06%, Indusind Bank was up by 2.28%, ICICI Bank was up by 2.25%, HDFC Bank was up by 2.11%, and Titan was up by 2.06%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were ONGC was down by 2.28%, Power Grid was down by 1.97%, ITC was down by 1.70%, NTPC was down by 1.14%, and Mahindra & Mahindra was down by 1.05%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 14,814.75 up by 78.35 points or 0.53% after trading in a range of 14,878.60 and 14,707.00. There were 27 stocks advancing and 23 stocks declining.
