Perspective on Mumbai property registrations for February 2022 By Mr. Rohit Poddar, Poddar Housing and Development Ltd
Below is Perspective on Mumbai property registrations for February 2022 By Mr. Rohit Poddar, managing Director, Poddar Housing and Development Ltd.
“The Mumbai property market has regained its sales pace with property sale registrations of 9,805 units in February 2022, as a result of the city's consistent upward demand. Buyers continue to feel confident in making purchases with Government’s active initiatives. Given that buyer-friendly conditions have already persisted for almost a year and have boosted demand, there is a fear that developers will soon rise the price in the coming months owing to the rise in crude oil prices that may impact the inventory cost in the long run. If RBI boosts the repo rate to curb inflation, interest rates may rise as well. ”
