Persistent Systems surges on reporting 36% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Persistent Systems is currently trading at Rs. 3693.35, up by 29.50 points or 0.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 3663.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3660.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3712.15 and Rs. 3584.05 respectively. So far 14778 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4986.85 on 03-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3091.65 on 26-Sep-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3744.85 and Rs. 3569.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 28208.47 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.26%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.39% and 22.34% respectively.

Persistent Systems has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.

The company has reported a rise of 14.90% in its net profit at Rs 175.11 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 152.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 41.17% at Rs 1235.48 crore for Q2FY23 as compared Rs 875.15 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 36.02% in its net profit at Rs 220.01 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 161.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 48.64% at Rs 2056.70 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 1383.66 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
