The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 62.65 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 59.50 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 5.29 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 85.01 per cent at Rs 2,434.66 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,315.99 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 87.65 per cent to Rs 2,277.42 crore from Rs 1,213.67 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 119.64 per cent at Rs 9.73 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 4.43 crore). Operating Profit surged by 53.67 per cent to Rs 157.24 crore as against Rs 102.32 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 16.97 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 621.77 per cent y-o-y to Rs 51.39 crore, while Taxation increased by 18.06 per cent at Rs 22.10 crore (Jun'21 Rs 18.72 crore).
