Orient Electric rises on completing sale of land parcels in Telangana
Orient Electric is currently trading at Rs. 231.25, up by 0.75 points or 0.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 230.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 230.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 235.05 and Rs. 230.60 respectively. So far 277 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 290.60 on 28-Nov-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 215.80 on 15-May-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 245.95 and Rs. 230.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4937.29 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.31%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.38% and 28.32% respectively.
Orient Electric has completed the sale of land parcels admeasuring a total of 23 acres situated in Dusakal Village Secretariat and Mekaguda Gram Panchyat, Hyderabad, Telangana, for a total consideration of Rs 35 crore. The said land parcels were held as assets for disposal.
