Omaxe zooms on bagging project from DDA to develop sports complex, retail project in Dwarka

Omaxe is currently trading at Rs. 102.15, up by 3.90 points or 3.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 98.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 98.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 104.00 and Rs. 98.90 respectively. So far 17018 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 114.75 on 22-Jul-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 66.05 on 02-Dec-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 104.00 and Rs. 97.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1860.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.50% and 13.35% respectively.

Omaxe has bagged a project from Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to develop a sports complex and retail project at Dwarka in the national capital at a cost of Rs 2,100 crore. The company has secured this 50-acre project from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under the ‘Design Build Finance and Operate’ model. It will build both outdoor and indoor sports facilities. A large cricket-cum-football stadium is also being planned, besides a retail area. The total investment is estimated at about Rs 2,100 crore, of which Rs 1,300 -1,400 crore will be on sports complex and the rest on retail area.
