Nifty futures closed at 17973 on a positive note with 1.86% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering.
Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 22 points compared to the previous day discount of 13 points.
BankNifty closed at 38373 on positive note with 12.46% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering.
BankNifty Futures closed at a discount of 62 points compared to the previous day premium of 9 points.
FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 1373 crores and were Sellers in Index Options to the tune of 2080 crores, Sellers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 1044 crores. Net Sellers in the derivative segment to the tune of 1916 crores.
India VIX index is at 16.08 v/s 15.75. Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 15.75 whereas Nifty ATM put option IV is quoting at 14.37.
