HIGHLIGHTS:

Nifty futures closed at 14888 on a positive note with 1.93% increase in open interest indicating Long Build Up. Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 69 points compared to previous day premium of 68 points. BankNifty closed at 33151 on a positive note with 7.66% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 160 points compared to the previous day premium of 190 points.

FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 762 crores and were Sellers in Index Options to the tune of 483 crores, Buyers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 299 crores. Net Buyers in derivative segment to the tune of 524 crores. India VIX index is at 20.25 v/s 20.84.Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 18.64 whereas Nifty ATM put option IV is quoting at 20.28
